Former Georgia Bulldogs Offensive Lineman Griffin Scroggs Transfers to UNLV Rebels |
Scroggs Joins Dan Mullen's Squad for Final College Football Season |
Griffin Scroggs, a former offensive lineman for the Georgia Bulldogs, is on the move once again.
Scroggs has transferred to the UNLV Rebels for his final year of college football.
Originally a three-star recruit from Grayson High School in Loganville, Georgia, Scroggs signed with Georgia in the class of 2022.
After spending the past three seasons at Appalachian State, Scroggs has committed to his third college football program.
In 2024, he started five games at offensive guard for App State and appeared in 10 total contests.
The following year, he played in all 12 games for the Mountaineers.
Scroggs transferred to App State in the spring of 2023.
At UNLV, Scroggs will play under head coach Dan Mullen, who took over the Rebels' program in December 2024.
Mullen, a former head coach at Florida and Mississippi State, has been working to bolster UNLV's roster through the transfer portal.
Scroggs is one of several transfers joining the Rebels, including former LSU defensive lineman Jalen Lee and cornerback Denver Harris.
The 6-foot-3, 330-pound offensive guard is among 13 incoming transfers at UNLV.
The Rebels' incoming transfer class is ranked No. 84 in the nation.
Scroggs' addition is expected to strengthen UNLV's offensive line as they prepare for the upcoming season.
His experience and versatility will be valuable assets for the Rebels as they aim to build on their recent successes under Mullen's leadership. |
